I am a privileged man.
And I don’t use that word “privileged” casually, because, among many literary circles I know, the writer is the hero, yet in the economy of grace, we write harder because of the one working in us,
In other words, we are who we are by the grace of God.
I really want to thank you for reading this blog, that’s why I consider myself privileged.
This year (around March) Muleefu blog marked 8 years since the first day I started blogging.
Its been fun, my motivations in blogging (crooked as they sometimes are) have often arisen from my private study of God’s word and his world, I thank him for the illumination. I thank you the readers, I thank the faith communities I’ve been part of, and I am part of.
One of the most interesting feedback in my blogging life once came from a young woman I met, she mentioned how in a taxi, scrolling online, she discovered my blog after she got curious about the local proverb origins of “Old Chief Kakande” that’s how she landed on Muleefu.
Gospel Coalition and other joys
Around October, God blessed Rhionah and I with our second baby, Kara Alexandria, its been continued joy ever since then. a few sleepless nights but well, what’s a dad to do, Parenting is a glorious calling too, isn’t it?
This year, I also got an opportunity to write for the much-celebrated Gospel Coalition, its been a delight, I had two pieces published with them here and here.
I have also had started some great conversations with my colleagues at Veracity Fount, we are recording a podcast “Worldview Wednesday” and we have some recordings in already. Look it up and track related developments here.
All these random things to say I am grateful for everyone that has read or spoken of this blog in some way, and more still, I look forward to many years interacting with you, as we explore together what it means to live a gospel-centered life in a world like ours.
Having run out of words, I will leave a couple of pictures to say a little more, just a little more. bear with my scattered thankfulness today, will you?
Have a glorious 2020 and keep following Muleefu as I imitate Christ.
Great note of gratitude reflecting on the many blessedness(es) Christ has added to your life. You are a gifted disciple and I pray Heaven pours into your work to yield overflowing fruit come 2020.
These are kind words Patrick, thanks for dropping by.

Thanks Elly, you’ve cheered us on from day one, God bless you.
