The redeemed husband.
Even if his band is playing,
He will not leave his wife complaining.
His words tender, not a knife,
Intended to cause strife.
He doesn’t live in the corner of the roof.
Because the Lord washed his wife’s chaff.
The redeemed husband.
His muscles may be tight,
But he still walks in the light.
Adultery? He knows the bait
So with his wife, they often date.
The redeemed husband
Always taking the lead
Knows in his transgressions he was dead
Yet onto Christ being conformed.
The redeemed husband.
In his younger days, he made sure they wed.
He’s now kept the Hebrews 13 demand
To ensure purity in the marriage bed.
The redeemed husband
Works from eight,
To make sure he can provide.
At home he won’t be late
Because his children, he has to educate.
Even in the Lord’s mandate.
The redeemed husband
Helping the kids with school work,
Ensuring on Christ, they don’t turn back,
And keeping his shoes on the rack,
So his wife doesn’t call him “Wack!”
The redeemed husband,
You surely won’t find him conforming to the world.
Because Christ rescued.
He’s now a redeemed husband.
Mrefu, a nice one there.May the redeemed husbands be satisfied with wives of noble character.
