IN AWE OF AN ECO-FRIENDLY GOD!

“The stones will cry out” .

Jesus is reported to have told those who hesitated worshiping him in Luke 19:40.

Looks like our God had a point.

I mean,

Nature has a way of doing what we fail to do; while our worship often falters, River Nile continues to do it’s thing.

While we fail to honor God in our work, the ants keep doing theirs.

While we use our tongue to gossip, the chameleon glorifies God with it’s own.

And while we buy torches .The owl is okay.

Jesus actually tells us to look to the ‘birds of the air’ which “do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” (Matt 6:26)

If you thought King Solomon was the best dressed in ancient history, Jesus says, wait a minute.

“Even Solomon in all his splendor was not dressed like the lilies of the field” (Matt 6:29)

Get the drift? –“lillies of the field.”

American music group Avalon has a song “Testify” and part of the lyrics go something like.

..All the colors of the rainbow
All the voices of the wind
Every dream that reaches out
That reaches out to find where love begins

Every word of every story
Every star in every sky
Every corner of creation
Lives to testify

Next time you bite into a great pineapple, walk across a wooden river bridge, Remember..

We serve such an Eco-friendly God.
