Eddie thanks for sharing what you read and stood out for you. I always look forward to your Articles.
For me 2 articles stood out to me. Of course I enjoyed reading so many other things too. But these 2 stood out. All these are on substack.
1. An article by Samuel D James. In this article Samuel wrote it to exhort singles especially men to consider marriage. This stood out for me because I am a single man.
2. An article by Jon Harris. This article is entitled ‘The men who stayed’. Now Jon Harris is one of my favorite guys online. He has a podcast called conversations that matter podcast (YouTube). And a substack under his name. In this article Jon wrote it reflecting on George Bailey who was the main character in the Christmas classic film. ‘Its a wonderful life’.
Jon compares the character George bailey in the movie to some of his friends and the ‘unknown’ men or unsung heroes who are diligent at their work places and faithful in their marriage and committed to their churches. He says those are the men holding together civilization. That article deeply resonated with me. To me it’s the most important article I read In 2025.
